GTAV Headed to PS5 in 2021, GTA Online Free at Launch on PS5 - News

Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto V will be getting a release on the PlayStation 5 in 2021 and Grand Theft Auto Online will be free for the PS5 when Grand Theft Auto V launches.

And Rockstar’s still not gonna make GTA 6.

It does feel weird, given that this game first released on 7th Gen consoles. Seems staggering that Rockstar didn’t launch a GtA game during the 8th Gen cycle.

Why should they? I mean, GTA V has probably been the best-selling video game two generations in a row. Rockstar is making money hand over fist without having to spend tens or hundreds of millions building a new game. That's quite a change from when they were on the verge of bankruptcy within a year after each GTA release and when EA tried to buy them out.
