Sony Plans to Reveal PS5 Games Soon, Console on Track to Launch in Holiday 2020 - News

Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida during the recent corporate strategy meeting announced Sony plans to reveal PlayStation 5 games soon.
"Games for the PS5 that deliver this new game experience are being made by both first and third-party developers and we plan to introduce a compelling line-up of titles soon," said Yoshida.
Yoshida added development on software has not seen any major delays due to the impact of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
"Major problems have not arisen in the game software development pipeline for Sony’s own first-party studios or its partners’ studios," said the company.
Sony says the PlayStation 5 is still on track to launch in Holiday 2020.
"The launch of PlayStation 5, scheduled for holiday season of this calendar year, will deliver even more immersive experiences on a game console," said Sony in an official statement.
"Higher speed, enhanced sensory perceptions generated by its revolutionary controller, and sound delivered in 3D audio will combine to realize truly next generation console game experiences unlike anything before."

The June reveal almost has to happen due to other circumstances - namely that if Sony really intends to start selling the console in October/November 2020, then mass production of the console would need to start in June. Once thousands of PS5's are being made in assembly plants in China/Taiwan/etc., it will be impossible to control the leaks (it always is). So Sony needs to do a console reveal/games reveal in early June to avoid having the system spoiled.
I'll also consider this an announcement of and announcement =p.
We all know they are going to reveal soon, and without a date given then is a pointless new.
