Final Fantasy XV Gets Release Date, Demo, Anime, Mini-Game Announcements, and More - News

Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy XV will be releasing in the west for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30th during its Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event.
Several new trailers were aired at the event, including the following game trailer:
Also revealed was a Final Fantasy XV anime called Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, the game's official theme song (which is a Florence + the Machine cover of Stand By Me), a CG movie called Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, a mini-game called Justice Monsters Five (which will also be made available as a free download for iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices), and a demo for Final Fantasy XV.
The demo is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and allows players to control a young Noctis. The idea behind the demo, which does not feature events from the main game, is to give players a feel for the game's visuals and gameplay. Those who complete the demo will get an exclusive Carbuncle summon to use in Final Fantasy XV when it releases in September.

I thought that the demo was (somehow) touching. I got attached to Carbuncle.
Enjoyed the demo, it clearly is a diluted version of the real game but it was quite fun and interesting, plus I enjoyed the final battle. Hyped for this one.

Totally sold on this game. LOVED THE DEMO! I have been playing FF since the first one, and I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a game. Maybe IX or X?
At first I didn't like the character designs, but the more I've heard of the vibe they're going for with this film, along with this trailer, I'm in. Looking forward to this.
