Six Games Inducted Into World Video Game Hall of Fame - Super Mario Bros., Doom - News

The games are Doom, Pac-Man, Pong, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, and World of Warcraft. The games were chosen based on their influence, icon status, popularity, and geographical reach.

15 finalists that were voted on. Games that missed the induction this time around include The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Minecraft, Angry Birds, FIFA, The Oregon Trail, The Sims, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Space Invaders.
The hall of fame is located at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.
