Lords of the Fallen Approaches 1M Sales, Sequel Set for 2017 Release - News
by Craig S , posted on 30 May 2015 / 3,394 ViewsDeveloper and publisher CI Games has told Eurogamer that sales for Lords of the Fallen have exceeded 900,000 units, and the game is gradually closing in on 1 million sales:
"We are over 900,000 units. Not yet 1m but we are approaching that. And definitely it's a good start for the new IP. Definitely we can say that Lords of the Fallen 1 proved the IP made sense."

Lords of the Fallen 2 was announced late last year and is due to release in 2017.

No, while MS do like spending money, they haven't bought Deck13. They've signed a deal with the publisher (not the dev CI Games) of Lords of the Fallen to publish 4 games exclusively on XB1.
While that very well could include a possible Lords of the Fallen 2, it could also be 4 of their many smaller games:
