steady sales is good and it means it has legs. I remember when they said WAW flopped on the wii (heck even Activision said so), and then its legs grew and sales multiplied 10 times in 4 months. Message | Report |

In the end, this game is nice but not as nice as we thought it would be, that aside, both tenchu 4, HotD Overkill and dead rising were released close to this one, with little advertising and tough competiton it is hard to see this one go well. Message | Report |

Actually drakes, okamis first month on the wii was pretty much as bad or worse than this.It took it 2 years to barely reach 200k on the wii.So lets not cut this out of the 200k mark just yet. And about hardcore titles from third parties..Well look at World at war, even with the competition from 360 and ps3 versions it sold around a 1 million in a few months.So hardcore can flourish on wii Message | Report |

I partly agree drakesfortune but come on lets be honest. This is a game that has the main characters as a spider or a scorpion. This won't win over many people....I'm guna pick it up as I took the time to research it and think it is worth a go. intro94: Well at least Okami sold fairly decently on PS2 and ok on Wii. I mean it had over 200k on Wii and probably 300 to 400k on PS2. I mean, they probably at least made a small profit on the game. Deadly Creatures will never hit 200k, and they will almost definitely lose money on this game. I'm not sure hardcore games are totally done on Wii (outside of Nintendo published games which will sell oodles of millions) but I think 3rd parties will not be putting very many new hardcore IP's on the Wii. It just doesn't make sense to do it when the bulk of the hardcore audience wants PS360 games. Message | Report |

all the major magazines have given this game high standarts, but games dont sell because of quality but because of hype, brand name and advertisement. Okami is another example, ranked nearly best wii game yet sold like this. Message | Report |

i am gonna buy this game later. Too many other games that are really good coming out. And before we hear the typical "FAIL", let's wait for a few months. or a year. Hum these sales are very saddening. At leat I did not bought my copy yet... Those saying that this is the proof that third party don't sell on wii are so wrong. This is truly sad to see. The devs gave a presentation at my school a week before the release. The guys behind this game are all very passionate, creative people. They took a huge creative risk on this game, and for that I applaud them. I'm not sure how close these sales figures are to being accurate, but if it's close, I guess it's back to racing games for Rainbow Studios. Message | Report |

The optimist would note that sales trend of some Small opening Wii games means not only would sales increase, but it also means that unlike most games, THQ could have some success advertising it considerably after their release. stop saying errors you find in the game, you wouldn't say that if it sold good the only reason the game didn't sell at launch is that the IGN advertisement and a sticker on the box is not enough but if the game is really good, it will have legs in Europe like de blob Message | Report |

Really nice game so far. IMO it really only sems to suffer 2 flaws. 1. It's a load heavy game, like some other games it seems to be constantly getting data from the disc (not helped that my Wii disc-reading has become quite loud since I dropped it) 2. I am guessing it is going to be pretty short... I have finished chapter 5, and although they are getting longer I have only sent about 3-3.5 hours so far.... so it looks like about 8-10 hours depending on how good you are. Even so, well worth it for £24 from ASDA... the experience of it is great even if it may ultimately be short. Message | Report |

Yeah I will be broke this year. I am getting this day 1 along with House of the Dead:overkill and many, many others. I really like the new concept in this game, I can't say I have ever played as a scorpion or tarantula ;) Throw in some great combos and death moves with bug guts everywhere and I'm sold. sold well for a game that features spiders and scorpions as main characters. c'mon it's original but did anyone really get attached to these characters? Also 150K within a year of release for this type of game is a disappointment but not a total failure; as they can reuse the graphics engine (if they could clean it up a bit) for other games on the Wii!!
