He's been making some people angry lately by calling critics misogynist, fabricating information about people who disagree with him, and comparing anyone whose not feminist to Hitler. It just so happened that Wheaton, either by his own choice or Nintendo's gambling on his star power, was prominently featured in a lot of the game's press coverage. So even the "good press" the game got likely left some people feeling disinclined from getting the game. It left me deciding to get Majora's Mask 3D instead. Message \| Report

I don't think this deserves to bomb so hard but the overall feeling of the game already had people on the fence and the divisive reviews ranging from "It's bad" to "It's amazing" really didn't help the many that were on the fence.
