Aside from SMG 1 & 2 there isn't ANYTHING better or even remotely as good as LBP on the present console gen (Wii) from nintendo,...... unless of course than in ur mind, the ton of lame casual shovelware present there is ''better'' 4u. @Trev... @NintendoFanDJ I also found the actual found the actual story itself a bit lacking but the sheer number of content it has - from the UGC to all the customisability and especially the ability to play in coop (which is how this game should be really played) makes it great fun and value. jester, no i mean that the franchise could eventually reach the 10 mill mark like around LBP 3 or 4. im think LBP2 could hit like 7.5 mill ltd and it should do around 600k 1st week and if the leg's are anything like LBP1 was then LBP2 should have no problem getting there Message | Report |

LBP 2 will almost definitely wipe the sale of LBP out. UC2 is different, because it stands on its own so incredibly well, despite a sequel. UC2 improved UC1's sales. LBP isn't the kind of game where that pattern will hold up. Message | Report |

I just bought LBP the GOTY ediction, the game is simply amazing. My whole family has a blast playing, my wife my 9 year old son, my 7 year old daughter, my 4 year old loves to watch, We like LBP much better then even any of the Mario brothers. we can't wait for LBP2 Message | Report |

@palitococo The problem with the titles you are mentioning is that none of the genres they are in has been popular in Japan (ofc Lost Odyssey is). Or at least the FPS and TPS. LBP brings cute little things and loads of customization, something that is adored among millions of Japanese. LBP is a cute platformer with customization, I thought the Japanese would be more fond of this game. Whatever. The reason I am posting here today is: When Move releases, Sony should bundle Move and LBP with every (or many) PS3. Get Move and LBP in every home, do like Nintendo, support you inventions and "force" your franchise on people. LBP can go BIG and it will be the perfect game for people to start with since it will be supporting multiple control schemes. Come on Sony, make it happen. And of course with LBP 2 Beta access and maybe some ModNation Racers stuff included ^^ Message | Report |

@akusero Crash......... these was diferent times guy, see the numbers of other greats western tittles that sell few: Uncharted series, Halo series, Heavy Rain, Ratchet and Clank series, God of War series, Resistance, Battlefield, Lost Odyssey (its an jrpg made by the creator of final fantasy series) and a large etc of great franchises that doesnt reach LBP numbers. @DivintyFire I don't buy that. A good game is good. And this has certain appeal to the Japanese imo. At least more than most other Western games, that's my point. I have a Japanese friend who said she played demo and didn't like it. I convinced her to buy retail version and she plays it a lot! Always inviting me to join her. I think it sold poorly in Japan because they refused to give it a chance. Japanese in general are very patriotic. Hence anything foreign is treated with disregard. Sad but true. Media Molecule is in England, is a European game (Part of SCE). For those saying is a western game. Is not, but is not Japanese either. Message | Report |
