Game Overview

Destiny is a first-person shooter that is developed by Bungie Software, for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It is the first game created by Bungie that has appeared on Sony platforms, and it is one of the highest-selling games to make its debut, surpassing $500 million.

Humanity has gone through a golden age, thanks to a mysterious object known as The Traveler. Lifespan increased greatly, technology thrived, and the planets of the Solar System were populated. However, this age ceased when humanity was nearly wiped into extinction. A massive enemy, The Darkness, seeks to end humanity. The player is a Guardian, a human with the power of the traveler, and must use the power to stop the Darkness and save humanity.

the reviews have crippled this game
sales. Now it just has great sales
instead of MEGA MASSIVE sales they were
expecting. I really dont understand
how people loved the Alpha and hated the
final game.

well the sales are certainly impressive,
hopefully Bungie can make Destiny 2 into
something great.
Ninsect (on 06 October 2014)
PS4's highest seller and 2nd 3m seller!
FIFA 15 will overtake it soon though

Can easily reach 7M, PS4 version
alone...Maybe more.
Dadrik (on 03 October 2014)
gigantor, that was expected considering
the huge FW sales.
A game can't keep
up with numbers like that for weeks when
there's "only" 11M consoles sold
worldwide. Almost 3M in 2 weeks is
already amazingly huge.
