Nintendo Bringing a New Color to DSi XL Line

Announced today by Nintendo is the upcoming DSi XL color "Metallic Rose." It's a shade of pink already seen on the DSi Lite that was obviously met with enough popularity to bring the color over to the super-sized DSi.

What's curious is Nintendo bringing a new color to the DSi XL while the 3DS is already out and they're trying to kickstart its sales. Personally, I think it speaks to the confidence Nintendo still has in the DSi XL platform, not a lack of confidence in the 3DS. Money is money, and if people are still wanting to buy the DSi XL, Nintendo is happy to supply them with more reason to do so.

AS long as its cheaper than the 3DS then it will sell well! But I do worry about it stealing from the 3DS sales. NO so much in Japan as you can see by the sales chartz
