by Jeanine Celestin, posted on 17 March 2011 / 1,288 ViewsQuantic Dream's critically acclaimed interactive drama Heavy Rain came out with the most awards at the BAFTA Video Games Ceremony that occured earlier this evening. Heavy Rain won awards for Best Original Music, Story, and Technical Innovation.
The game has already won previous awards such as 2010's Game of the Year from CNN and Gaming Union. It has also won GameSpy and IGN's 'Best PS3 Game of 2010' as well as our own Best Adventure Game for 2010. Heavy Rains's big wins are perhaps not surprising as the thriller has already gained much praise and many fans worldwide, and plans have been announced to make a film adaptation of the game, simply titled Rain.
Other notable BAFTA wins include Bioware's Mass Effect 2 winning Game of the Year, God of War III winning the Artistic Achievement award, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 took home best Gameplay.
