Displayed at Wonder Festival 2011, a garage kit action figure of heroine Bayonetta (from the video game of the same name) will set you back $2,186. An unfinished kit, which is the sort of thing more commonly seen at Wonder Festival, will only cost $588.

Typically made of PVC resin, a garage kit is a representation of fandom (usually an anime character) typically made in a fan's garage to exacting standards of realism and detail.  Recently, due to the popularity of such kits, larger hobby houses have produced their own. Craft House Mr. Big, based in Japan, made these Bayonetta garage kit figurines.

Wonder Festival took place Febuary 6th in Japan, and features booths focusing mainly on toy figures, but also includes vintage items, books and an area where visitors can show off their “cosplay” attire.
