Howard Glitch Reaches Kickstarter Goal; Will Become Book and E.P.
by VGChartz Staff, posted on 05 December 2010 / 551 ViewsHoward Glitch didn't die after all! The eerie escapism game that is played entirely through clicking links on YouTube (link), has reached its funding goal of $2,600. In fact, it's nearing $4,000, so the team can now afford to expand the game's story into a "multimedia jigsaw puzzle" consisting of a novel, a series of acrylic paintings and ASCII art, an E.P. of supporting mood music, and an audiobook narrated by Henry Devas of the BBC.
With that said, the duo behind the insanity have released their final promo video, inviting you to join the adventure. Yes it's entirely about six people flying to their horrible untimely death, but wouldn't it be great to just be part of it all? If you donate $200 or more by Monday, they'll gladly write you into the story of an upcoming prequel animation!
Anyway, here's the final promo video:
Now I guess we'll be waiting for the spring 2011 release of the book, the visual art, and the tunes. Now we can rest easy knowing that it will all be made. Until then, all we have is the creepy game. For more information about the upcoming expanded universe multimedia madness, head on over to the project's Kickstarter page or the whole project's official website, HowardGlitch.com.
