Jesus ****** christ. No wonder PSP gets so much support. Too bad the software and hardware sales in the west Suck ass so devs will never make money from it overseas.

Luthor : there s a NSMBWii in the red bundle indeed... in Europe at last ! Why they didnt do it in Japan ? Well, Japan doesnt have Wii Sport included either so...poor them !

Luthor (on 18 November 2010)

@ Guiduc, no there's no smbw, only the original DK.

guiduc (on 18 November 2010)

I don't get why New Super Mario Bros. Wii didn't chart... Isn't it included in the Red Wii pack?

SlyFoxDeveraux (on 18 November 2010)

@ Galvanizer It already is a series. It's more famously known as Ogre Battle (including March of the Black Queen for SNES and Person of Lordly Caliber for 64) but they're all the same series. And the series is FANTASTIC.

Japan matters... PERIOD.

naruball (on 17 November 2010)

Yay for Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2!! It has surpassed the first one in LTD sales and it's still selling decently.

benao87 (on 17 November 2010)

Holy ****! I didnt expected that boost for wii

I think adding this article as a weekly regular is a great move by VGC. Very impressive red Wii boost. Should keep it above PS3 another week, then GT5 will assure 2010 overall belongs to PS3. @ some sour grapes 360 fans: Yes Japan still does matter a lot to Nintendo and Sony, and all the Japanese game developers. Just because the 360 is bordering on irrelevance in Japan doesn't mean Japan is irrelevant. And Japan matters to MS too, but more for strategic resionas than direct sales / 360 profit reasons. MS will always sell it's console in Japan, and make Japan oriented games. Try big picture thinking every now and then. God timing with FM3 ultimate edition release, remind 360 owners that they have an excellent driving sim on their console, 2 in fact.

forza sells in japan good news

Lyrikalstylez (on 17 November 2010)

Does Japan even matter anymore, Seems to me Ms doesnt even need this region anymore O-Well being stubborn to certain brands keeps you from enjoying a great console... tough luck Japan

Salnax (on 17 November 2010)

@CrashDestroyer Why do you think the Wii's sales plummeted after the best E3 it ever had?

AnthonyW86 (on 17 November 2010)

Lol PSP Go is outselling the 360... Very nice boost for Wii, let's see if it can hold througout the rest of the holiday season.

TheSource (on 17 November 2010)

A 28k boost for the Red-Wii in Japan should equate to a 55k-90k lift in the Americas, given the sizes of the markets. Wii might manage 400,000 - 450,000 or so this week.

chris212223 (on 17 November 2010)

I wonder why MS hasnt given up on this territory yet i mean they have sold like 1.4 mil consoles but still at this point they should just give up...

Arfen (on 17 November 2010)

Seems that the low Wii sales lasts weeks were just cause japaneses werewas wating the Mario anniversary Wii pack

CrashDestroyer (on 17 November 2010)

So when the Wii doesn't have a new major game coming out for a few weeks sales go up?

Pavolink (on 17 November 2010)

This's the Mario power!! Here Wii go!!!

Galvanizer (on 17 November 2010)

Hopefully this means Tactics Ogre becomes a series.

kivi95 (on 17 November 2010)

lol the xbxo360 did the exact same as last week.

Aiddon (on 17 November 2010)

it's a Matsuno game, of course it's going to be awesome.
