Yeah MH3 is a definately must buy on my PAL Wii!!
I have had the honour to play an import of it and beside I didn't understand a single word it looks damn great!!
So I'll buy the PAL MH3 for sure!!

PS: But the trailer is old - old but good

My guess is that if it ever gets a port, the agreement with Nintendo is that it would be Japan only, or to arrive in any territory outside Japan at the very least a year or more later after MH3 comes out in the West.
That said, I wouldn't put it past Capcom to use the money earned from MH3 to create MH4 as an HD exclusive, but though irritating, that wouldn't affect my buying decision for Tri. But frankly I don't think that will happen, if anything, there will be both a Wii and HD version for MH4.

"but i get a feeling of a PS3 port for this game for some reason"

The game was originally planned for the PS3 but was canceled, because of the low ps3 sales in Japan. So I think there is not the slightest chance that a PS3 version will be made.

This game will not get any ports (i think) cuz nintendo is publishing it at Europe , and nintendo would publish a non-exclusive title got it ? in day that capcom sad to big N, ok you will publish the game is the same day that they sad "Its a Wii only title" second the game sold over 1M in japan that is the best selling MH for a desktop console so there is no reason for a port anywhere ...

Wow... truly epic, wish it had a story mode but hey, Capcom knows how to do big monsters and action, this outta' be good, but i get a feeling of a PS3 port for this game for some reason... i think its the 3/Tri. >_>

April 6th is the date that a Gamestop rep quoted to me last weekend, but no clue how legit that is.

What is a yar? Just kidding I know that its year....

Anyway I keep asking this but nobody seems to know but I will try again. Is April 6th 2010 the real confirmed date or just a guess? I might get this but it depends on other game announcements from Nintendo's conference next week and G.D.C as I won't have enough money to get everything and if I see other stuff that I will like more then I may have to skip this game which is a shame because it does look good.

@Siko1989
Yes there is no continuous story, but also it is impossible to go back to the first 2 games in full. The online for the first one is not active anymore and the 2nd game never made it to the U.S. So no worries you can get into the game with no problems, but if this will be your first MH game...you might need some help from friends. MH community should mostly be friendly so there will be someone to help you. : )

Reasons for Nintendo fans like me to love Capcom nowadays: Okami ported to Wii, Okamiden on DS, Zack & Wiki on Wii, Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble for DS, the outstanding Wii edition of RE 4, great on rails shooters, Tatsunoko vs Capcom Wii exclusive, and now this... Please guys, support Capcom. Best Third Party on Wii :)
