The Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console worldwide with 288,878 consoles sold for the week ending October 5, according to VGChartz estimates.

The PlayStation 4 was the second best-selling console with sales of 201,835 consoles sold, followed by the Xbox One with 48,530 units, the 3DS with 10,920 units, and the PlayStation Vita with just 29 units.

Global hardware estimates (Followed by lifetime sales):

how many weeks has the switch actually sold more than the ps4 in europe since the switch released? looks like never. europe is sony central

SONY has the whole central and eastern Europe, where Nintendo is nearly absent.

I always thought Europe and Rest of the world are dominated by PS and Japan is dominated by Nintendo. Then US is based on releases. Maybe it's just me.

39 Vitas sold in Asia, 29 sold globally, were 10 of them invisible to the global market? :p typo for sure
