Microsoft is celebrating the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalog exceeding 300 games by giving away Lost Odyssey for free through December 31.
The game is available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One as a Backward Compatibility title.
"Relive the journey of Kaim, a mysterious immortal warrior, as he embarks on an epic adventure of self-discovery," said Mike Nelson, Xbox Wire Editor. "Now this epic RPG is yours to enjoy as our small way of saying thank you for being a fan of Xbox.
"Originally released in 2008 for the Xbox 360 in North America, Lost Odyssey was developed by Mistwalker, a legendary game studio made up of many icons in gaming including the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi. Other talents who contributed to Lost Odyssey included the legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu and author Kiyoshi Shigematsu."

One of the best JRPG's I've played, deff great for free also one of the things i disliked was the performance, dopping to 17-18 frames at heavy scenes, on xbox one the framerate is super improved.
