Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida announced on Twitter The Last Guardian has gone gold. The development for the base game has been completed and discs have begun to be printed.

The Last Guardian launches for the PlayStation 4 in North America, Europe and Japan and December 6 and in the UK on December 9.
