Warner Bros. is looking to re-release the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight in the "coming weeks".

The announcement was spotted by VG24/7 at the bottom of the press release for the Tumbler and Arkham Asylum skins DLC.

Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and is available now for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. The PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks.

The PC version was pulled from retail and digital stores in June after widespread reports of significant bugs and stability issues.

I do sometimes wonder how much revenue, companies are bringing in from PC sales. I mean if I'm losing a huge chunk of potential profit. I would have so we have my team working 24/7 to get the game patched and re-released.

It being mentioned as an afterthought in the press release sounds about right. They know nobody actually cares about the game on PC anymore. It will still rack up some sales and may not totally flop on PC, but I doubt most of the people who were burned and returned the game will be leaping to spend money on the re-release of what many seem to consider to be the weakest of the Arkham games. I would guess that most PC sales will come from good old Steam sale times.

I'm guessing the primary reason they're going through all this trouble is to repair consumer trust. That, and I'm sure Nvidia is riding them hard considering it was supposed to be the flagship GTX game for a while.
