Take-Two CEO: 'Mafia III is a Completely Different Experience' - News

Take-Two revealed Mafia III at Gamescom last week and people have already begun comparing it to Grand Theft Auto V. However, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says they are completely different games.
"Mafia III is a completely different experience," said Zelnick. "I wouldn’t compare it to anything else out there. The reveal [at Gamescom] was great, but it stands alone."
"We don’t use any other game in the same sentence as Grand Theft Auto. It is the industry’s standard-bearer. It’s not up for comparison."
Mafia III won't be released until Take-Two's 2017 fiscal year, which puts it on course for a release between April 2016 and March 2017.
