Usually when MS make this price cut, XBO sell really bad... I still remember the -100$ dropped annunced on May, and the terribile April NPD. For not cont October... imo, Prepare for a Doom NPD for XBO in January. Outsold by PS4 by a Huge margin.

Not sure if it's by a huge margin but it should do better than last year.

Look Microsoft, just take a page from Atari's playbook and burry those Kinects under a parking lot.

I'm curious as to why Microsoft waited until now to cut the price of the Kinect bundle. Why didn't they just do that when they price cut from the Assassin's Creed SKU?

Attempting to win February NPD so they don't start out losing the first two months of the year.

To me this says X1 lost the January NPD and to combat the whole "MS cant win when its not a holiday" they're lowering the price the last two weeks of February to try and boost the February NPD lol. Can't wait to see it not work

XBOX One with what???

thismeintiel (on 09 February 2015)

This probably means two things. One, January sales weren't too impressive. And two, the reports of mass overstocking is true and MS is just trying to help stores get rid of unsold stock. Probably why its only for two weeks. Of course, I don't think this will help sales that much. For that, they would need to drop the price to $399.

Why wouldn't you just get the Assassins Creed Unity Bundle with Kinect for $35 more? O.o

I'm not sure they want to do this, given the last "temporary" price cut fallout; many users on here seem pretty perturbed by the oscillating console cost.

Why would anyone care about this now??? They've already pushed the $350 version to death pretty much saying Kinect is now irrelevant. The reason to want Kinect is what now exactly even at a discount?

Is should be $450 at the most lol. In fact I would just drop it to $400 and try to get rid of them. 95% of people only want the $350 SKU anyways.

Hopefully that should work out for them.

Comments section with all the negative comments have all got more thumbs up than any of the "congrats" or "good" type comments, it's obvious this section isn't moderated and gives fans biased from other platforms free reign to become dicks.

This price should be permanent, as well as 349 w/o kinect. It'd allow xbox to beat PS (in the US).

Not for 10 months of the year it wouldn't

And I get downed 2 for simply stating something positive for Xbox. I didn't say WW. WW is for PS4, but NA and the UK will go to Xbox.

Er, no. 400 PS4 vs 350 XB1 = PS4 wins.

This just proves how toxic and uneeded the thumb system is.
