You get about $1 per 1000 views on Youtube from what I've heard. That means that PewDiePie made about $4.1 million dollars before taxes from Youtube this year. The man is living the life, playing video games and raking in the dough. Can't stand his videos personally, or most of the other top 10 let's players on Youtube for that matter.

I think more like $2-$3 per 1000 views (he's not some small dude who has only some thousand viewers). Didn't he even say half a year or so ago that he makes like $8 million per year and that number only grows.

I don't watch his videos. I'm not a fan. But I have nothing against him making all this money. I wouldn't call him talented. I think he just did the right at the right time. What I do have a problem with are all the idiots who bitch about him but still watch his videos and talk about him. They fail to realize that they're making him successful by clicking on his videos. Also, by telling other people about him, you're having them click on his videos. The more people hate him, the successful he is.

This just proves that morons like to watch morons.

Good for him. I know a lot of people bash him but it takes real talent and creativity to get that many views and subscribers.
