The charts include comparisons between the 7th generation and 8th generation, as well as comparing the 8th generation consoles. All sales are worldwide, unless otherwise stated.

PS4 vs Xbox One – VGChartz Gap Charts – November 2014 Update

PS4 Vs. XOne Global:

Gap change in latest month: 304,408 – PS4

Gap change over last 12 months: 6,352,273 – PS4

Total Lead: 6,924,772 – PS4

PS4 Total Sales: 15,853,215

Xbox One Total Sales: 8,929,035

In November 2014 the gap between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One grew once again in favor of the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 sold 304,408 more units than the Xbox One to bring the total lead to 6.92 million units. The PlayStation 4 has sold 15.85 Million units in 13 months, while the Xbox One has sold 8.93 million units.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both launched in November 2013 in North America and Europe. The PlayStation 4 launched on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe. The Xbox One launched on November 22 in North America and Europe.

XB1 is only keeping up because of the temporary price cut, come January XB1 sales will be sub WiiU again and PS4 will stretch that lead.

If the PS4 had that killer ap - I'd be on board. But presently and judging by the shows - it'll be quite some time. I'm really enjoying my Xbox One so far this gen. But please Microsoft - fix Halo already!

Even though PS4 is selling the most, It's nice to see that the Xbox One sales are up and selling well. I wouldn't wish bad sales on any console, they all bring their own unique style to the gaming industry
