Microsoft has announced in a blog post that one million people have signed up for the Windows 10 Technical Preview. There has also been more than 200,000 pieces of feedback submitted.

Microsoft added that 64 percent of the Windows 10 Technical Preview is on actual PCs, while the other 36 percent is on virtual machines. 68 percent of people using the preview launch more than seven apps per day, 25 percent launch more than 26 apps per day, while five percent launch more than 68 apps per day.

"People on the team are hard at work poring through all the feedback, categorizing and processing it, and cycling it back into our development," read the blog post. "Again, make sure you look at the feedback others are reporting and use the “me too” button! It’s early days right now, but you’ll see the fruits of your engagement over the next year as you’ll see the product evolve."

I wanted to try it too, but I am against key logging. I will wait for final release and I hope that this function is removed... not just disabled. I also hope that rumors of free upgrades from Windows 8 are true.

Actually, Windows 7, XP and 8/8.1 each have a bigger market share than both Mac OSX and Linux. Just like Android has a bigger market share than iOS. Mac only beats Vista in the Windows line, which everyone knows was a disaster for Microsoft. Apple and their fans always portray OSX to the ultimate most cool thing to have, but in actuality, people are more likely to use other OSs.
