Former EA and Ubisoft Devs Open Indie Studio Spearhead Games - News

Former Electronic Arts and Ubisoft developers have formed a new indie studio called Spearhead Games. The studios is based out of Montreal and announced its first game is titled Tiny Brains. The game will be shown off at PAX East later this month.

Spearhead Games was founded by Simon Darveau, the Assassin's Creed III design director, as well as Malik Boukhira and Atul Mehra. Boukhria was a designer for Assassin's Creed II and Dead Space 3, and Mehra was the former franchise director for Army of Two.

Tiny Brains is a co-op action-puzzler and it will be released later this year as a download. The platforms were not been unveiled at this time.
