Synthesis and Periscope Join Forces to Open German Studio - News

Synthesis Global Solutions, who specializes in the localization of games, and Periscope Studio have joined forces to open up a new studio in Germany, called Synthesis Deutschland. Synthesis also has studios in the US, Japan, Spain, and Italy.
"Our reputation is our most important asset so we don't enter into joint ventures lightly," said Synthesis managing director Max Reynaud. "But working with Periscope, experiencing their approach and the fantastic quality of their work, that decision was very easy to make. The Synthesis Germany joint venture adds essential local experience for us in a rapidly growing and evolving German games market and we're exceptionally proud to bring Synthesis Germany to our global service."
Synthesis and Periscope have worked together for two years on previous games. They most recently worked on the German localization of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Rage. Synthesis will absorb Periscope's translation, casting and audio-recording talent and infrastructure teams. What is left of Periscope will focus on video game music and the development of audio software.
