Rovio, the Angry Birds developers, is set to open a new studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The new studio will open later in 2012 and will hold between 20 and 30 employees.
"2012 is going to be a big year in gaming for us, and we’re constantly on the lookout for great new talent," said Petri Järvilehto, EVP of Games at Rovio. "We’re excited to expand to Stockholm and work in one of Europe’s gaming and innovation hotspots."
Rovio is looking to hire a General Manager for its new studio. "The General Manager, Rovio Stockholm is a member of the Rovio Games leadership team, reporting to our SVP of Game Development," said the job application. "The General Manager is responsible for site management and the game development efforts rolled out in Stockholm."
