Woot! Go VGChartz! So you're a "marketing firm" now, heh.
See I keep pimping VGCHARTZ and Ninja Warrior and they just keep blowing up sweet! Gonna go to neogaf and link the video so they can go craptastic all over thier keyboards! Just kidding I woudnt do that. Well maybe.
funny how they call it V-G-Chartz. I guess in my mind I always called it "Videogame Chartz"
is the article there anymore? all I see is blankness.
Well if wiifit is shown on oprah then it will sell like crazy, good 2 see that the site gets credit.
Looks like a lot of hard work is paying off. This really is a BIG deal for the site. Congrats ioi.
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...... yeah, that's all I can say about the matter.
Oh, & good job, Mr. ioi!
Very very nice. Good to see VGC moving up in the world.
Thats pretty cool.
hot damn! great work, the future is VGChartz!
Kudos on this, ioi. This is a big deal, you are being rewarded for the work you put into this site.
Good point, shouldn't there be a thread about the neoGAF thread about this news story?
Or has neoGAF not seen yet?
"You've just taken your first step into a larger world"
Well done ioi!!!
So, how much money will Oprah get from Nintendo to have Wiifit on her show?
@ non sequor
rofl
Yeah!!! (pumps fist in air) great job ioi!!!!!
Oh, boy...another mention of VGChartz in the media! NeoGaf boards are going to have a serious stroke! :)
I'd be surprised if anyone on any morning news show even knew how to properly operate a spoon.
It was already on Good Morning America, it didn't go over that well... They didn't know how to use it. :-P
Sounds like pachter reads the forums. Oprah FTW!
X Play, Reuters, next the big networks
Good job
Congratulation guys...
We can say we knew you "When"
Awesome ioi! You deserve every bit of credit and praise.
BTW - Since when is VGC a firm?
While Oprah is obviously the big Kahuna, she's not essential. I guarantee you will see these things on The View, Regis, Ellen, Good Morning America, the Today Show and pretty much every other programed aimed at uterus owners.
Nice, we're really going mainstream here.
Fantastic!
It's just sad that people don't fully know what we do.
Woa! It was about time, this is just great ioi, congratz.
I was hoping for ioi's comments accompaning the piece though...
Excellent.
Nice one ioi.
Can someone give a summary? I can't find my headphones.
Congrats ioi, VGchartz has hit the big time ;-)
NeoGaf? Who are they? :-P
Now it better hit that million or we are Doomed!!
congrats ioi!!
Well, she's not obliged to say she used it to lose weight. She can just say that she loves it and make a little demonstration live.
Neogaf am cry, lol.
NeoGAF is like :@!
Congratz ioi, this is great for the site.
Oprah probably won't endorse Wii Fit.
Since she has had a serious bout with her weight, fluctuating up and down, she probably isn't going to be too public about her workout routine (or lack thereof).
Holy sh!t, that's BIG for VGChartz.
OMG! Oprah has the power to sell 50 million Wiifits. O_O
Ninty should send her a free one if they haven't already. lol, ;)
You guys might want to give up on Oprah. I highly doubt she will get on live TV to have a board say that she is obese. Fat chance. But Nintendo doesn't her I think. They just need to air some commercials during her program and that should be enough.
Great bit of free Press!! But with Oprah in the title I was expecting to see her with WiiFit not just Pachter talking about the Oprah crowd. Ah well... Here's hopeing she loses 5 pounds with it.
Hey if someone lives in NY, you should go and cover the launch for us. Take some pics and stuff.
Thank god they didn't credit Nextgen Wars or something. Anyone remember that dinosaur?
Awesome!
Noticed!!!11!!one
Mention by Reuters, probably the biggest thing that has ever happened to this site, ioi!
Off topic;why does everyone who plays that soccer heading game touch their forehead and go "Ouch" when they miss or are "hit" by a shoe etc? Looks kinda silly. :-D The power of suggestion reaches through the TV as well, it seems.
Yahooooo ! VGC is going to the top :D
@dib8rman
can you just please chill out....he's actually being criticized way to much than he deserves to be
I'm just happy I now know what patcher looks like and sounds like so I can put all my disdane towards his race, creed, nationality, family ties and anyone else guilty by association oh and him.
Looking at him it's like catching one of my employees in his office after he browses the web and I come in to give him a task I need done but he has that blank look and hollow response... nice guy though and everyone needs a break... he still does good work though.
Anyway gratz again then. neogaf is going to be up in arms though... why idk.
Ow man... I hope this goes across the border. I greatly enjoy the publicity VGC get's this way...
Armaggedon is upon us ;)!
@shams
I totally agree.....the word of mouth for the thing is HUGE & astounding
this means not only did it have a HUGE opening but legs will surprise people a lot!
I think when I said last year wii fit would outsell GTA IV 2:1 I wasn't too far off
Too awesome... "VGChartz, a firm that tracks sales"... :)
Nintenarmaggdon must now truly be upon the world!
Seriously though - I LOVE WiiFit. I had one of my fitness mates in here, and he got stuck on the game for a good hour. Its WiiSports, all over again...
wow, absolutely great.
Congratulations!
Noice!
thats great for wii fit and even better for vgchartz! the sites getting the credit that it deserves
Neogaf will not like this :).
Credit goes to you ioi.....well done
hopefully that arrogant NPD person will get some sense in his head now.
