Dark an solid shooter with tactical elements. It has some optical highlights, but overall it looks like a beafed up XBox-port. Good entertaniment für Coregamers. Casuals shouldn´t even try.

As this game came out back in the last generation, I always thought about getting it. Don´t ask me why I didn´t, because I don´t remember. Now it was released on Nintendos Wii, and I took my second chance. First of all - it´s still the same game. Just two things changed: the controls of course and some grafic elements. Water effects look more now like in actual games and some textures are polished. Some professionell testers wrote about the explosions, but I don´t see an upgrade on them.

Rogue Trooper creates a very dark atmosphere, based on the setting and the mean character. Rogue is a guy you really don´t wanna meet. I liked a lot the little animations around him, when I had to use first aid or did a weapon change. You see every move. For example, the first aid is a metal arm coming out of your backpack and giving you a injection. Then the arm gets back into the backpack. If you don´t use Gunnar (the rifle) its always on your back.

Aiming and shooting is similar to most Wiishooters, except grenades are a little tricky, but after a while i figured it out. The game offers you two choices: play Rambo or ply Sam Fisher. Sneaking around becomes more important on higher difficulty levels, every coregamer should start Rogue Trooper on HARD, not on Normal. There is one difficulty level to unlock, MASSACRE, and on this one you have to use all your equipment, which grows more and more in the game.

The game entertains you around 10 good hours. It´s a good option for Wii players who are tired of awful ports like the BiA: Double Time.

Hey, you americans, go out and buy this game! It is (in my opinion) one of the best games on Wii.
And finally its a game which looks better than the XBox-original.

I wonder about the others-sales

Odds are, the company who published it just could not afford to promote it.

I just saw this game at gamestop and have NEVER heard of it before, and I am a member on IGN and a few other sites. This game looks awesome and is getting some good reviews, how come this was so silent on release?

Sincerly, the best Ego Shooter for the Wii (if you count Metroid Prime as action-adventure and not shooter).

Rogue Trooper for the Wii looks better than the old PC/Xbox-Versions and the gameplay is great.

To bad nobody noticed this game.
