Unlockable Areas
Once you have beaten the main story and the credits are over, you will automatically appear in the Mushroom Kingdom. To unlock the Dark/Darker Side of the Moon, you need to have beaten the main story and gathered at least 250/500 Power Moons. As soon as this is done, Cappy should say that you are able to travel to the Dark Side of the Moon in-game.
