Im glad this game flopped in EU. A game which was censored and destroyed beacuse of the little Rising star whiners wasnt supposed to sell any copies. Now we all can get the next sequal in a bloody version and then we are going to se more EU sales for that game. Message | Report |

I think you are right. But the good thing is that even with this little in sales, it made enough profit for grasshopper manufacture that SUDA51 has announced a sequel to his game. He has never done that and so it must have sold more. Im guessing around 0.43 million is accurate. Hopefully ubisoft make more copy and so it will sell 500k before Desperate struggle comes out! Go to World-->Weekly and then put Wii as a console and Ubisoft as the publisher and go to no more heroes and you will find out how many are sold per week along with the actual number of sales. Though i must admit this game is already undertracked. Message | Report |

But seriously, the excuses you made are just trying to defy my point and you have not succeeded one bit. Call of Duty 2 sold less because its online stinked. Metal Gear Solid 4 has a long way to beat Metal Gear Solid 2. God of War releasing near 360 ps3 an wii release has nothing to do with each other. What about Pikmin? Oh and about Gears 2. A game that is a sequel will definitely sell alot in its early days of release because the people that bought the first game would want to buy the second game upon release. How many people do you know bought a game that is 3rd or 4th in the series without buying the first one? No More Heroes as I said over and over again will require the player to have some knowledge of what happened in the first game to understand what will happen in the second one. That means that people that haven't played the first one will not buy the second or with awesome reviews, players might end up buying the first one and the second one. Message | Report |

You claimed that sequels didn't sell as well as the originals, and now you're just making up reasons why the sequels I listed don't count. What about Crash Bandicoot 2? Did that find success from its non-existant online play? Gears 2 is certain to pass the first and anyone who denies that needs only to look at sales trends. You keep mentioning that some games have online that sell more than their prequels and it's all irrelevant. Call of Duty 2 had online but sold less than Call of Duty 3, 4, and 5 (these games having online as well). Final Fantasy 11 had online, but it didn't sell as well as its predecessors. Metal Gear Solid dropped off mainly because Metal Gear Solid 3 was swallowed during the 2004 holiday season by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Halo 2. Metal Gear Solid 4 is actually going to see an increase over MGS3 on a much lower userbase. God of War 2 has incomplete data and frankly, it was launched at the time when the PS2's popularity was waning and the 360 was on the rise up (along with the launch of the PS3 and Wii). DUDE! Halo 3 was mostly bought to play online. Some people who did not play online bought it to continue the story from the first one. Gears 2 DID NOT pass gears 1 yet so you cant say it will. Call of duty is mostly bought to play online and story is different from each one. No More Heroes has no online or anything else, just story and action. Naruto, Gears of War 2 is going to outsell the first game. You definitely need to know the story of the first two Halo games to understand Halo 3, but you wouldn't know that. Normally sequels do not sell as well as Firsts do. Look at Pikmin, Resistance, and Metroid Prime. NMH:2DS owners will have to know the story of the first one in order to understand the game and so newcomers will try to avoid this game and not all first game owners will buy this. The game oozes style, but I feel it is a bit broken in places (currently ranked 8th btw... got it a few hours ago) I don't think it is worth full price, but it's well worth budget price (£20-25) Riding the bike is horrid, the ranked battles are pure class, the bits inbetween are neat and entertaining. I think with the Wii motion Plus, and hopefully a push from Suda 51 himself that a sequal can be made. Especially with all the critical praise this game has gotten it can't be that hard of a sell to publishers. Plus like Beyond Good and Evil I think it's criminal if this game doesn't get a sequel. I think if No More Heroes gets a sequel (which it probably will), this game will see a small sales boost whenever that sequel might come out. It could be similar to when GTA: Liberty City Stories got a sales boost in Japan around GTA4 release time. Bargain bin status could help it in the future as well (it's $19.99 now!) Message | Report |

Retards who think the game loses something from "censorship". Exploding in coins fits in so much more with the style of the game than exploding with lood. The censoring doesn't affect the game badly at all, to be honest. I live in Sweden and I played through the EU version, and the game is just fine even without the blood. If you decide to not buy the game because of the lack of blood, you're being pretty stupid. Message | Report |

@man That's awesome...bad choice on Sudas part to remove the blood from Japan and Europe, but at least your getting it somehow. Also I just saw this game at Game Stop brand new for 30 dollars...nothing pisses me off more than when a game drops 20 dolalrs 2 months after I bought it. I think what you dont see is that the game retails at 65 Euros in Europe. I am not gonna buy a game for 65 Euros. I just got Okami for 34 Euros, and I got Endless Ocean for 40 Euros. Why on earth would I want to pay almost twice that for one game? Message | Report |

I guess word of mouth is not very good in europe for this game, mostly due to the fact that it is cut here. The style of art got totally lost because of that. So i don't know but this could be why its not selling so good in EU. Message | Report |
