Still haven't purchased this game. However, it has performed fairly well in the long-run. Hopefully Nintendo will advertise it again as a part of a bundle or something to push the sales further. Message | Report |

I don't think the time of the year really matters for some of these games. Just look at Dark Moon. That game still sells even more than a year after release. I remember it being sold out all the time at shops in my area over the holidays last year. I think really all Nintendo has to do is bundle it, and do some advertising in the fall and then sales will ramp up for the game over the holidays. All the people who missed it's launch this May, maybe because they weren't looking for a 3DS game, will definitely notice it this fall. Message | Report |

Not being released during the holiday season is most likely a large factor as to why this one is underperforming, like you said. Pretty much every Kirby game released sometime around the holidays, so I guess it's not too bad. Message | Report |

@Npie The opening week was basically the same as Squeak Squad, and higher than Canvas Curse or Mass Attack. All of those games had very good legs, so I don't expect this to be different. It probably won't sell as well as Squeak Squad due to digital sales, and the fact that it's not a holiday release, but it still should hit around 500K, which would take overall sales past a million. Those are some nice legs in the US when compared to it's opening week. I'm not sure how it stacks up against other Kirby titles specifically, but I doubt it outshines any of them. Message | Report |

Great legs in America! This should easily sell in the 300,000 to 500,000 range in America this year! Europe hates Kirby, so they won't help much. Maybe 100,000 sales in 2014 if the Wii game was a sign of change. Still, this can easily be a million-seller by the end of 2014. Message | Report |

Yoshi also came out on a Friday with slighter higher numbers, so I still say that Kirby's opening was softer than hoped for. Kirby is typically a pretty strong seller, but Yoshi's US numbers to date are only so so. Message | Report |
