Its like Twilight with Nero the emo and Kyrie the Twilight girl. Not to mention Hideki Kamiya has rebuked the camp homo as Dante. Which is true, DMC1 is the true Dante, not Donte the camp homo. Not to mention Trish and Lady butchered the original iterations of the those characters... And well the game is fucking boring. Case in point that awful dice game. Message \| Report

Capcom understands a game is not defined by the geographical origin of the developers, its the skill set of the developers that matters. And thats why Ninja Theory was chosen above a Japanese studio. And Japanese gamers/ or American gamers who want to be Japanese can be as xenophobic as they want. It dosent change the poor quality of DMC4, FF13, RE5, or many Japanese games this gen (of course their have been some excellent games). Message \| Report

So I dont understand why is Capcom changing developers; it doesnt make sense, because lots of DMC sales are from japan, and by having a game developed by a western studio will make it to bomb in japan. We all know japan is game-wise xenophobic. I dont understand what is Capcom trying to do. They are going to loose the Japanese sales, and the sales of most fans in the series. Heres why i think the PS3 version sold the most, and please, no flaming, too many fanboys on this site who cant accept another's opinion even if its just a friggin analysis. 1. Japan - Simple really, the 360 is dead there, hence the 360 version sold less. DMC is also a big name there, and the PS3 userbase saw this as the biggest game for them yet 2. EU - The most complicated region. The 360 has a million unit lead there, or at least did, or still does according to VGCHARTZ and MS. But the userbase is still comparable hence the small 90k gap. But the reason i think it sold more is because PS3 owners in general were looking for that killer app, the 360 has a much bigger library, and given the fact that EU is pretty casual, the DMC name sold well too them. NA - The 360s userbase is double, hence was able to sell more, and no before people start saying those are poor sales, you have to remember that the 360 has more titles, hence not every 360 user has their eye on DMC, theres other titles to choose from. Also, NA gamers arent as casual and know their games better. Regardless, Capcom are VERY happy. They were able to get the PS3 users to buy DMC, a franchise that they can now confidently say is still tied to the brand. Capcom are also happy that their first DMC outing on the XBOX brand, is also a success, however much they both sold, they sold impressively. Also, the 360 game is selling at a MUCH faster rate than Lost Planet and Dead Rising, which got 1.45 and 1.6 mil, at this rate, and considering NA sales have by far the biggest legs, the 360 version may reach those numbers. I still think lifetime numbers will be higher on the PS3, but over time, the gap will be closed Message \| Report

Japan - Simple really, the 360 is dead there, hence the 360 version sold less. DMC is also a big name there, and the PS3 userbase saw this as the biggest game for them yet 2. EU - The most complicated region. The 360 has a million unit lead there, or at least did, or still does according to VGCHARTZ and MS. But the userbase is still comparable hence the small 90k gap. But the reason i think it sold more is because PS3 owners in general were looking for that killer app, the 360 has a much bigger library, and given the fact that EU is pretty casual, the DMC name sold well too them. NA - The 360s userbase is double, hence was able to sell more, and no before people start saying those are poor sales, you have to remember that the 360 has more titles, hence not every 360 user has their eye on DMC, theres other titles to choose from. Also, NA gamers arent as casual and know their games better. Regardless, Capcom are VERY happy. They were able to get the PS3 users to buy DMC, a franchise that they can now confidently say is still tied to the brand. Capcom are also happy that their first DMC outing on the XBOX brand, is also a success, however much they both sold, they sold impressively. Also, the 360 game is selling at a MUCH faster rate than Lost Planet and Dead Rising, which got 1.45 and 1.6 mil, at this rate, and considering NA sales have by far the biggest legs, the 360 version may reach those numbers. I still think lifetime numbers will be higher on the PS3, but over time, the gap will be closed Message \| Report
