Prototype 2 (X360) > Opinions (14)

Such a shame what's happening to Radical. They were such a good dev. I even enjoyed their Crash Bandicoot games. Activision really should've gotten Radical and their engine working on a spiderman game, especially one based around Venom or Carnage. It's mind boggling to think that Acti still has Beenox making Spiderman games, but not the dev whose been making open world games centered around all the amazing stuff a super being can do.

Well over 90% of the Radical were laid off, and Activision is actively talking about shutting the remaining few dev support roles down for good. I live in Vancouver, trust me, Radical is DEAD.

The team of Radical Entertainment didn't really quit, they just don't develope their own games anymore, meaning they will still work for activision but by teaming up with other devs.

Looks like this game killed Radical Entertainment. Activision shows no mercy for low sales.

Only 90k copies from 500,000 at full price at it's doing 50k a week. This will definitely hit a million by the end of the year.

Meant about 110,000 units, which actually makes things a tad bit easier for P2. This is a million seller for sure if you ask me. People will buy this more and more as prices drop, just like the first one.

@DarkFury

Looks like I might be earing those words, but then again, this is only a about 140,000 units away from being at 500,000 in NA. I think it'll have a chance at doing those numbers by next month personally.

@T.Rexington: Analysts were predicting it would not sell 500K in US this year, and that might well happen.

The game is selling worst than the 1st one, and that is a good thing.

Weren't there analysts predicting this game would struggle to reach 500,000 units or something? Guess they're eating those words now.
