Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (X360) > Opinions (30)

@nilli. it depends how you look at it. the story of Uncharted 2 was about a Russian dictator trying to get some blue liquid to take over the world. their not really comparable games. Enslaved's performance capture is way better, check youtube for proof. and Batman AC was decent. but not really fair to compare it to a game thats supposed to be a linear adventure game.

This game is mediocre at best. That why it did not sell better. This is miles behind games like Batman Arkham city or uncharted. Animations were clunky, the story jumped all over the place, the game was linear more than you can bealive, no multiplayer no replay value what so ever.

@Stadelhuber. i also think the game was very good. there were a few technical issues (what game dosent have tech issues) but there was a lack of replay value. i think what Ninja Theory are doing now with DmC is the answer. adding a deeper combat system with dense layers of storytelling. maybe even with online leaderboards. i think that was the main reason it was overlooked.

Great story, a game that's more than the sum or its parts. Worth buying (*particularly* at its current cost) and likely to be one peoples' best game you've never played lists in years to come. Gonna miss the never-happened sequel to learn whatever happened to Monkey and Trip.

Gimgak, that's 730K shipped. There's still probably 200k copies lying unsold in bargain bins all over the world.

undertracked, namco said the game sold 730k total while this + ps3 here is only 560k.

Beat this today and was a very enjoyable game. Underappreciated it seems. Do think there could have been more diversity in the combat, but characters, story, progression, and music were amazing. Only wish the ending was better. Wanted a more complete and not open-ended ending.

Picked it up for 30 bucks (collectors edition with soundtrack etc). Too bad the game had so many flaws the story was cool tho

What difference does Japan make when the 360 version still sold better?

The Japanese sales are laughable!

I'm surprised this had sold better on the 360. Seems like a game that would do better on PS3.

Why the surge in America all of a sudden?? Price drop is not an explanation because this already hit the bargain bin in Europe too. Looks like a severe tracking error.
