The last game on the Cube catalog is one of the best by far! This and Wind Waker are amazing, really. Zelda games get better and better, I'm so glad they released it on GC as well :)

Unexpectedly, I found this game 3 weeks ago in my local swapmeet and the guy was selling it for 17 bucks...17 for the GC version and it was in very good condition, obviously I HAD to buy it to compare and it plays awesome, i think it's obvious since it was originally designed to be played on the Gamecube and not the wii. As I said before, the only things that I didn't like about TP is collecting those lights with W. Link but everything else is great. I had to undust my GameCube, lol...I wanted to played it there anyway because I just wanted to make sure if my GameCube was still in good condition. Now, I don't know what to do it...put it in my collection or sell it for 40/50 dollars :P

While not a bad game, of all the zelda games I played it was the one that I least liked. It lacks soul and needed to put a bigger challenge to make each part worth more..the lenght could be reduced and so the experience woudn't be so diluted.

I'm playing this game now for the first time (GC version) and all I can say is WHAT A GEM (the Spinner is truly awesome). I still think Majora's story is the best of the series, and I loved WW's style, but LTTP, Ocarina and TP are the true standpoints of the series.

Here's hoping for another darker sidestory involving Skull Kid, though.

First 'T' rated Zelda and I think first 'T' rated from Ninty (excluding Metroid whose are made by Retro Studios)

Are those Japanese sales accurate?

I remember hearing something just before launch that TP GC would only be distributed online in Japan.

I prefer the Wii version but you can't go wrong with either and I got both.

Also I am happy that (if these numbers are accurate) that the game has sold over 6 million worldwide combined. I'd like to have seen a million+ in Japan but what you gonna do?

Though it is interesting to see the groundswell of TWW love after TP was released. I've been riding that wave for 7 years now and while I think TP is superior I thought TWW was an under appreciated game.

Yes the Cube version really is better. I prefer it because the graphics seem crisper and less blurry than the Wii version. And you get full camera control with the C Stick and you can continuously do spin attacks by rotating the Analog stick then hitting B unlike the Wii version where you have to wait for the sword to recharge.

Is the cube version REALLY better... I'm gonna pick it up next to my Wii version (which i purchased at launch of the Wii) cuzz it's like the Swansong of my beloved Gamecube! Just outta respect!

Btw:

Wii version at 3.85 mil and Gc version at 1.33 mil = 5.18 mil total sold, which means it outsold Windwakers 4,... mil units sold! NICEEE!

This game definitely blows Wind Waker out of the water. It is much longer of a game, more challenging, allows horseback riding and fishing, and well the twilight parts of Hyrule are kinda neat. Nintendo did a good job making this game feel dark and full of evil.

This game is really good, I really enjoyed it. Although it didn't have the "magic" feel that OOT did, it was greatly done. It almost beats OOT but just doesn't. It's probably #2 in the Zelda series behind OOT. OOT was just the beast of videogames. You gotta love all the music, ocarina songs and such in OOT. Although horseback riding in TP definitely kicks major butt! I have to give TP a 9/10 although if I could I'd give it a 9.9/10.
