So I guess people buying this game paid off considering now Hudson is bringing a game called The Calling which is a horror game haha. Sucks that Wii owners have to go through this to get it but at least it gets ya something.

Say what you want about this game but hopefully these sales will generate enough cash for Hudson to get a shot at doing an actual game for the first time in ages.

Zucas posted 16/09/2008, 05:10
Hmm 700,000 sold right now and selling about 20k on average. AT this rate it's going to last til the holiday season where this title, like most mainstream of its kind, will probably take off. I think a million is almost certain for it.

European area really seems to be liking these sports and party games. Shows you how different each market is and why games like this need to be present. Gamers are different and some like the "calculator esque" type games where you play random selection of games and see how well you can do. Seems to the best sports party games that are hot and some are quite fun.

Will be a good title to go plat.

Well this is going to go gold. What it needs is to have good enough legs to last til holidays, where a title like this will sell the best.

Stever89 posted 17/06/2008, 04:14
I played it, and I didn't find it that fun, which was unfortunate because I thought it was going to be a WiiSports2 type thing. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. That and I didn't get a chance to play multiplayer, which I guess is probably the best part.

Soccer, badminton, and curling are a lot of fun too. Basketball would be more fun if it was faster.

FIRST ON THE SITE TO OWN! Oh yeah. B)

So, kart racing and motocross suck (ESPECIALLY motocross), but the rest of the game is pretty fun. Archery's gotten the most play time. I'm not sure if it's worth the $30 (I've only played an hour or two), but it's definitely a good buy if you can find it for less.

7/10.

I am going to make an early prediction of 2.5-3 million for this one.

Will sell 250-300k in Japan, but Europe will eat it up, 1.5 million in Europe alone. around a million in NA.

MontanaHatchet posted 07/04/2008, 05:59
Didn't Source have this as dropping out of Japan's preliminary top 20 after 4 weeks?

It could be successful in Europe though. Is it being released in other territories?
