If you've been following Dragon Booster on Sky One you'll know all about the mythical world where dragons and humans co-exist. The show takes off when evil forces begin trying to turn the two peaceful races against each other. A war looks inevitable, but a wise old dragon named Beaucephalis identifies 16-year old Artha Penn as a potential saviour. And so, together, they work to regain understanding between the humans and dragons, while investigating the evil at work behind the scenes.

As with the TV show, all the events in Dragon Booster for Nintendo DS take place in Dragon City, during the prelude to the Dragon/Human war.

There are two modes available. Adventure mode is mission-based, and puts you in the centre of the Libris Alliance Story. Challenge mode is where you get to explore Dragon City in search of dragons to collect, train, and breed for racing. You can own a maximum of 12 dragons, but can trade with friends via the Nintendo DS wireless link to get the ones you want. If you want to race against your friends, go right ahead using the same wireless connection.
