Metroidvania RPG Blighted Delayed to 2027 - News

DrinkBox Studios announced the etroidvania action RPG, Blighted, has been delayed from fall 2026 to 2027. It will launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
"Before we get into the fun part of this devlog, we’d like to first address the fact that it is nearing the end of 2026 and Blighted still doesn’t have an official release date," said DrinkBox Studios.
"The team has been working hard (and growing!) but we feel we still need a bit more time to polish and tune the game before launch. With this in mind, we’ve decided to shift our release to 2027.
"We appreciate your patience, and while we will have more news in the new year, we have one more really cool dev update before 2026 wraps that we think you'll want to keep an eye out for."
