FIFA 23 remained in first place on the UK retail charts, according to GfK Chart-Track for the week ending December 3, 2022. This is the week after Black Friday and the week of Cyber Monday. Sales for FIFA 23 fell 47 percent week-on-week.

There were several new games on the UK charts, however, only one sold enough to make it in the top 10.

The Callisto Protocol debuted in sixth place with the PS5 version accounting for 74 percent of retail sales. Overall, launch sales were 17 percent lower than Dying Light 2, but much higher than Saints Row and Gotham Knights.

Need for Speed Unbound has had a very slow start with it debuting in 17th place and sales 64 percent lower than 2019's Need for Speed Heat. 78 percent of retail sales were for the PS5.

Marvel's Midnight Suns debuted in 26th place with a release on consoles and PC. However, the PC version was the main focus as it was developed by Firaxis, who is known for developing PC strategy games.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II remained in second place as sales were down six percent. God of War Ragnarök was up two spots to third place as sales increased seven percent week-on-week.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains in fourth place with sales down 20 percent. This is after sales were up 226 percent the previous week due to the Switch hardware bundle.

Pokémon Violet dropped to fifth with sales down 30 percent, while Pokémon Scarlet also saw sales drop 30 percent.

Here are the top 10 best-selling titles for the week:

  1. FIFA 23
  2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
  3. God of War Ragnarök
  4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  5. Pokémon Violet
  6. The Callisto Protocol
  7. Pokémon Scarlet
  8. Nintendo Switch Sports
  9. Sonic Frontiers
  10. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
