Absolutely Every PS5 is Sold, Says PlayStation CEO - SalesWilliam D'Angelo , posted on 20 November 2020 / 4,712 Views
Sony launched the PlayStation 5 in select markets on November 12 and yesterday launched the console in most of the remaining major markets worldwide.
PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan in an interview with TASS was asked about how well the PS5 has sold in its launch and as expected the PS5 has sold out everywhere it is available. He is working right now to increase the supply of the console to try to meet the high demand.
"Everything is sold. Absolutely everything is sold," said Ryan.
"And everything will be sold in Russia, there’s no doubt about that. I’ve spent much of the last year trying to be sure that we can generate enough demand for the product. And now in terms of my executive bandwidth I’m spending a lot more time on trying to increase supply to meet that demand."
The PlayStation 5 is now available worldwide.
