Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition Announced for Japan - News

Nintendo announced in the latest issue of Weekly Jump it will release a Nintendo Classic Mini Family Computer Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition in Japan on July 7 for 7,980 yen.
Here is the list of games it comes with:

- Hokuto no Ken 3: Shin Seiki Souzou Seiken Restuden
- Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen
- Magical Taruruuto-kun: Fantastic World!!

Here we go! I knew they were going to do editions of this system, it makes too much sense. I wonder if the US will get something similar but with more western tastes.
With more western tastes, we're gonna have a lot of LJN games built in and it should be call LJN Edition or Rainbow of S*** Edition with rainbow color mini NES. Sigh i'm sorry, if i sound like desperate lol.
Reason why i mentioned on LJN because they used to make a lot of mediocre games based on or off cartoons, films, comics and toys for sure, it was disappointment like for real, so, let me stop joking and talk about a good games based on.. again.. i already mentioned: We had some quite good publishers back then that you already mentioned on Capcom and Data East, not only those companies, Konami and Sunsoft did also make a good games like Batman, TMNT and even gem so called Bucky O'Hare, they were awesome!
It's probably easier to do something like this in Japan. The Famicom simply had more games than the NES, and many Western developed and licensed games were released later in the platform's life. So even though a "Marvel/DC Comics NES Classic" might sound cool, there were only ever 10 NES games based on Marvel and DC properties.
The best bet we might have for these specialized Classic systems might be developer themed. I'd be interested in a Capcom NES Classic that had the Mega Man series, 1942, Bionic Commando, their Disney liccensed games, Ghosts n Goblins, Mighty Final Fight, Street Fighter 2010, and so on. Or maybe we could have some based around genres, like a NES platformer edition.
It's cool to think of all the different editions of these consoles that could come out, but as someone who missed out on the NES classic during its first year (and really wanted one!), I kinda selfishly hope they just release the same console again so I'll have another chance at owning it, and not some other variant that I may potentially care a little less about.
