Xbox Achievements Top 100,000 in Total, Worth 2.3M GamerScore - News

There are now more than 100,000 Xbox Live achievements available to earn from 3,100 games across various Microsoft platforms. In total these achievements are worth 2.3 million GamerScore.

As you can see from the infographic above, the Xbox 360 accounts for most of these achievements - 76 percent in fact, while the Xbox One accounts for 14 percent, Windows Phone five percent, and Windows Live PC the remaining five percent.

The achievement system was introduced with the Xbox 360 when it launched in November 2005.

I'm at 40k gamerscore, I used to go for achievements when I first got my 360 but not anymore.

I just mod my gamerscore. Takes very little time and makes all those hunters jelly. I hate achievements personally and it's only added to a toxic community so i have no regrets modding. The fact that some gamers actually feel accomplished for their gamerscore is laughable to me. It means nothing to the type of gamer you are which is exactly why I mod. Let's all those nerds to think twice before bragging to me.

But of course should you ever play a game that you've granted yourself the achievements of being good at... you'll be terrible? I don't understand your thinking I'm afraid would be like an obese person buying themselves a gold medal with "marathon" written on it and popping it on the shelf, doesn't mean anything just wastes your own time and effort doing it.
