Nolan North: New Star Wars Franchise in the Style of Uncharted in the Works - News

Visceral Games is currently developing a new Star Wars title that is slightly different from, but similar to, the cancelled game Star Wars 1313. 

This new title will be in the style of Uncharted according to voice actor Nolan North.

Actor Nolan North said the following at Metrocon, as reported by GameSpot:

"If you're a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she's gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted. I happen to know a lot about it and it's going to be awesome."

Star Wars 1313 was announced at E3 2012, but was ultimately cancelled in April 2013 when Disney closed LucasArts.

If it's immersive as Uncharted games and full of passion and adventures, this allied with the Star Wars universe can and will be really awesome and a mark in games. Can't wait tbqh.

I wonder if Amy Hennig will get in trouble for this. Nolan North is probably not under any sort of NDA not being part of the project, but Amy will be under a NDA and it was probably her that told Nolan. I'm a big Amy Hennig fan, ever since Legacy of Kain, so I am really looking forward to this game. I've crossed Battlefront off my buy list now.

1313 looked awesome, a shame it got cancelled. An adventure-style Star Wars game sounds good. Too bad I won't ever play it because of that EA logo on it though...

'in the style of uncharted' I doubt he can be talking about story because uncharted universe is far from star wars universe.
If gameplay, it will be interesting because no way will visceral wow us compared to uncharted in terms of the tech they can push
