BioShock Franchise Sales Top 25M Units, Infinite Sells 11M Units - News

The BioShock franchise has sold more than 25 million units worldwide, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick who spoke at the Technology, Media, & Telecom Conference in New York.

Zelnick made the following statement:

"It's a really important intellectual property for the company and while I don't have any announcements to make, yes, it's a really important franchise for us."

Zelnick also announced that BioShock Infinite has sold 11 million units worldwide.

Well, if you guesstimate the PC sales Vgchartz tracks are about 10% of the total (because digital aren't included), then it's only a tiny bit undertracked. Maybe it even isn't with digital sales on consoles...

PC is always the most sold console except for really really high profile games like CoD and GTA. Steam and other digital sites doesn't give out numbers though and 99% of PC sales is digital so. Also most sales doesn't mean most money since PC games are usually bought on sales.

Once I played the first Bioshock game, I was hooked lol. They've got my money easily if they make a new Bioshock game
