by the end of the gen the gap will be 70.000.000 to 80.000.000
i think will be 66,500,000. XD
Maybe, don't will reach 36m... but seriusly, you think that can will sell 13,000,000 lifetime!?!??! Will sell minimum 10,000,000 this year, and in other 3-4 year only 3 million?
Comparing the WiiU, the total numbers aren't even that bad. Given the rapid momentom of the Wii and the slow momentum of the Wii U, there is promising numbers that will result of greater software being developed, such as Smash Bros 4 that will win the hearts over many who decide between console purchasing. The Wii U just got to a slow start. It has been two years, but Nintendo has a while to go before it beats the total Wii sales. I believe it'll take two-three more years before that happens.
By end of year the gap will be above 30,000,000...
lol
It's amazing to know that Wii sold 32% of its lifetime sales in less then 2 years. I think WiiU will have a longer lifetime.
This only means Nintendo has to try next time around. No more under-powered systems. No more Nintendolands. They will have to make a solid system with a solid line up of games.
3rd parties will still make excuses no matter what though.
Always going to be hard to compete with their last-gen console that did a fantastic job and the hope was sort of lost when it didn't perform well and then got worse. I don't care about what the gap will be, Just hope Wii U starts to perform better in future.
This isn't funny anymore :p
DOOOOOM
dayum.
This just pointless, the Wii U'll never come near the Wii compare it with the gamecube, that would be way more interesting. Just like the PS4 could better be compared with the PS2.
The 3ds could better be compared with the GBA.
Since the cycles of these consoles/handhelds are way more comparable then the consoles of the 7th gen. (except voor xbox 360 and the xbox one, the Vita unfortunately sells so bad it isn't comparable (in sales, it's a lovely device) with anything besides the ouya)
