Welcome to the VGChartz Gap charts. The charts will be updated monthly and each article will focus on a different gap chart. The charts include comparisons between the 7th generation and 8th generation, as well as comparing the 8th generation consoles. All sales are worldwide, unless otherwise stated.

PS4 Vs. Wii U Global:

Total Lead: 1,805,508 – PS4

PS4 Total Sales: 8,389,231

Wii U Total Sales: 6,583,723

In its eighth month on sale the PlayStation 4 increased its lead over the Wii U. The PlayStation 4 outsold the Wii U by 161,979 units. The PlayStation 4 is now 1,805,508 units ahead of the Wii U. The PlayStation 4 has sold 8,389,231 units, while the Wii U has sold 6,583,723 units.

The PlayStation 4 launched in North America and Europe in November 2013. The PlayStation 4 launched on November 15 in North America and November 29 in Europe. The Wii U launched in November 2012.

._. I don't know why I get so many thumbs down, a gap between 4-5 millions is a possibility given the things right now... people just can't handle reality.
