In order to do this, take 2 of the same monsters(example Slime). WHen they are both over level 20, synthesis them. The result will be a Slime rank C(or any other monster you use(this only works with certain monsters). Get 3 more of those rank C Slimes and synthesis them. After a while, the result will be either a rank A or S monster.

Monsters this works with include:Slime, Goodybag, Skeleton, Teeny Sanguini.

I think the Japan sales can reach that of the first game in time. Worldwide though i don't think it can surpass the first.
