Whenever you pick up trash such as paper, cookie crumbs, etc., you have the choice to do some different things with it. If it is food, like cookie crumbs, you can feed it to the fish. The fish bowl is by the sink in the kitchen. Do not throw trash in the fish bowl -- you will actually lose Happy Points for this. Depending on what you feed the fish, it will vary the amount of Happy Points and Moolah you will get. You must put the actual trash in the trash can. In the living room, press R. Over in the top-right hand of the map is a trash can. It is near the window that leads outside. Walk up to the can and press A when the investigation bubble pops up. . Anything compatible that can be thrown away will get thrown away almost automatically.
