Great idea marred by a low budget and poor execution. The game gets better toward the end (and as you master the poor controls), but I think most gamers will give up before getting there.

walmart does sell games for ten, just rarely. there have been a lot of 15 buck games lately.

Cursed mountain just showed up in a large quantity, but i didn't scan it to check the price. Likely currently 15 - 20.

I already bought it for ten at Gamestop, so it doesn't help. but maybe people will start to see it.

Now i'm playing it. I think it's a unique, fresh and fun game to play (specially on the wii). Great visuals, great sound and good gameplay. It deserves better sales. Anybody knows the shipment for this game? Plans for a Sequel? Something?

Just finished. I found it to be fantastic! The atmosphere is great, as well as the awesome sound design. This is the best horror videogame I played and I just played Dead Space last November.

Unfortunately just getting around to playing this game but wow its really good. Wish I supported it on day one but glad to see its sales are higher than I thought. Still not that great but I was guessing around 50k. It looks like 100k is possible which is not horrible.

Cursed Mountain is a hidden gem. One of the scariest games ever created...hopefully that game can at least sell 100-200k w/ word of mouth. I think the Wii having 2 years of shovelware is really hurting these great games as ppl are gunshy to buy non-established franchises/IP!!

I feel bad for these games that don't sell but at the same time it seems like it's just a mediocre game. If you want to make a successful new IP you really need to make it better than mediocre. If this had come out early in the wii's lifetime it would have sold well, I agree that shovelware has made people cautious, but also there is just better stuff coming out and close on the horizon.

I'm so hooked to this game right now!!! It's true the gfx isn't the best(decent) and controls are kinda slow. But the atmosphere and storyline really brings you in!!! Fans of Eternal Darkness will love this game!!!

This game is really good; unmatched atmosphere and intellectually mature. To label it as a survival horror is very misleading and could have skewed the reviews to lower scores. The game is actually an excellent dark adventure. I loved the feeling of isolation the game created. I like slower paced games (like Endless Ocean) so I can understand how some gamers might get impatient with this one.

I really hope this game does well over time because it's something the Wii needed (well, console gaming in general for that matter) and I'd like to see more serious, mature titles like this one in the future.

It's an original mature ip for the Wii. The mountain this game is trying to climb may very well be cursed. If you look closely you can see Madworld and the Conduit encased in blocks of ice as you climb past.

Seriously, this game deserves better sales.

I big game like this will need AT LEAST 300K units to break even, let alone turn profit. At 50$ retail, that's 15M revenue, at least 50% of it going to retailer, leaving a very modest budget of 7,5M for the game+marketing.

I expected low sales for the firsts weeks,but i hope CM could reach 100-150k during Xmas. But i'm not sure at all. Just check the numbers for OVERLORD.
